S1 Safeguarding Public Utilities and Infrastructure
The following sites and areas of land, as shown on the Proposals Map, are safeguarded for the essential infrastructure as described in the list. The use of these sites for any other purpose will not be permitted:
Transport
- A227 (A25) Borough Green and Platt Bypass – new road
- A228 Snodland Bypass dualling
- A21 Tonbridge to Pembury dualling
- London Road to Hadlow Road Link, Tonbridge
Education
- Pratling Street, Aylesford – site for new primary school and playing fields
- School Lane, Wouldham (for Wouldham Church of England Primary School) – site for new playing field
- Rear of Foxbush, Hildenborough – new playing fields (for Hildenborough Church of England Primary School)
- Tudeley Lane, Tonbridge - additional playing fields for Weald of Kent School)
- Upper Haysden Lane, Tonbridge – additional playing fields (for the Judd School)
- Platt - Site for new primary school
Water Services
- Burham Reservoir extension
- Baltic Road, Tonbridge – new reservoir
