H12 Agricultural Workers’ Dwellings
New dwellings or the conversion of existing buildings for agricultural workers may be permitted if both the following criteria are met:
- It can be demonstrated that there is an essential need for someone to live permanently on site to provide essential care to animals or processes or property at short notice.
- The scale of the proposed dwelling(s) relates to the needs of the agricultural enterprise.
In these exceptional circumstances, residential occupancy conditions will be imposed.
