30 Co-Location Design Principles

To be supported, proposals involving co-location will need to demonstrate:

A. High quality and innovative design approaches to create a buffer and separation between any heavy or intensive industrial uses and adjacent non-industrial uses; and

B. Appropriate design mitigations which address the following:

  1. Safety and security;
  2. Layout, orientation, access, servicing and delivery arrangements of uses, including refuse;
  3. Design quality, public realm, visual impact and amenity for residents;
  4. Vibration and noise;
  5. Air quality including dust, odour and emissions; and
  6. Agent of Change principles.
