DMO 5 Trees
Permission for development which would result in damage to or loss of trees of amenity value will not be permitted unless;
- removal would be in the proper interests of good arboricultural practice; or
- adequate replacement planting is proposed.
Consent for works to protected trees (TPOs and trees in Conservation Areas) will be granted where;
- proposed works of pruning are in accordance with good arboricultural practice, or
- proposals for felling are properly justified through the accompanying detailed arboricultural and/or structural engineer’s report; and
- adequate replacement planting is proposed.
