DMTS 8 Protection of public houses and bars

Public houses and bars of historic or architectural interest and/or community value will be protected as appropriate from demolition and/or change of use or painting in accordance with the guidance set out in the Town Centre Uses SPD.

The Council will serve Article 4 Directions to ensure that development proposals which affect public houses or bars of historic and/or community value are subject to planning permission.
