Policy WLP6

Proposals for development should include provision for, and provide the submission of details in respect of the waste generation and disposal implications of the development, measures, to:

  • minimise, re-use and recycle waste;
  • minimise the pollution potential of unavoidable waste; and
  • dispose of unavoidable waste in an environmentally acceptable manner.

The Local Planning Authorities will not permit applications which do not adequately address these requirements.
