CLT7 Community Use of Education Facilities

The Council will grant planning permission for the multiple use of existing and new educational facilities for community or leisure activities. Where new dual use facilities are proposed, they should:

Be ancillary to the main use of the facility for education;
Not interfere with the delivery of the education service; and
Not have a harmful impact on the character of the surrounding area or amenities of nearby residential properties and other uses.
