CLT9 Use of Redundant Education Facilities

The Council will grant planning permission for the redevelopment or reuse of redundant educational establishments that are surplus to educational requirements, for community, leisure or recreation purposes. Where applicants can demonstrate that the buildings are unsuitable for re-use or there is no local need for community, leisure or recreation facilities, other suitable alternative uses such as housing will be considered.
