RA13 Mixed Use in Villages

The Council will permit development for the mixed use of existing buildings that provides services and facilities which meet the needs of local residents, within the Green Belt settlements where there is a proven need and it accords with the Green Belt policies. Acceptable uses include local shops, post offices, public houses and meeting halls for social, cultural and religious uses, provided that the proposal would not harm the amenities of nearby residential properties and other uses.
