RA18 New Agricultural Buildings
Where planning permission is required for new agricultural buildings, consent will only be granted where:
- The proposal would not harm the character of the surrounding landscape in terms of its siting, design and appearance;
- It would accord with the design policies of the Plan and the Supplementary Design Guidance;
- It would have no adverse impact on the amenities of nearby residential properties and other uses.
Where prior approval is required, approval will only be given if the proposal meets criteria (i) and (ii).
