KBR16: SECURITY AND RESILIENCE MEASURES

Major development proposals should demonstrate how appropriate and adequate security measures have been considered and incorporated into the design of buildings.

Proposals should demonstrate how they have been designed to minimise opportunities for criminal and anti-social behaviour, for example by incorporating Secured by Design (or equivalent) principles as appropriate.

Development proposals implementing security or resilience measures including hostile vehicle mitigation should not have a detrimental impact on the public realm.
