KBR30: MOTOR VEHICLE USE

In line with the London Plan, development that is motor vehicle-free (with the exception of designated parking for Disabled Blue or White Badge holders and servicing requirements), is encouraged.

All development is encouraged to be designed to maximise its potential for construction, delivery, freight, waste and recycling consolidation plans including zero emission ‘last mile’ services.

Where vehicle spaces are needed to support development, they should be dedicated to providing on-street and off-street charging points for electric vehicles that can be used by the occupiers of residences and business premises in the Knightsbridge Neighbourhood Area and comply with KBR31 (Electric vehicle infrastructure).
