MES3: Materials

MES3.1:

All development proposals should demonstrate how onsite reuse of demolition waste as a construction material will be supported, where possible.

MES3.2:

All developments should adopt sustainable and responsible sourcing approaches, including a consideration of ethical issues in the supply chain of key materials.

MES3.3:

All developments should exceed the standards for materials outlined in the Mayor’s supplementary planning guidance on sustainable design and construction.
