MRU3: Complementary Uses in Mayfair
MRU3.1:
New retail and entertainment uses will be encouraged where they complement both nearby residential communities and also the character which those nearby communities help to foster.
MRU3.2:
There should be no net loss of Social and Community Facilities unless:
- it can be demonstrated that there is insufficient demand for that use by:
- The floorspace having been actively marketed as a Social and Community Facility.
- The floorspace has been widely marketed at a reasonable market value and other terms for similar floorspace in that locality.
- Similar provision is made elsewhere in Mayfair.
