ENV 1 – Sustainable Development
Development proposals should:
- respect the intrinsic character and beauty of the countryside and Parishes and the need to support thriving rural communities;
- maintain and where practicable and appropriate, enhance biodiversity; and
- not give rise to harmful disturbance from noise. The use of renewable and low-carbon or zero carbon technologies to reduce energy use will be supported.
