Quantitative and Qualitative Asset Selection
Where do you get your data from and how accurate is it?
Our data is generally extracted from official government data, from organisations such as the Office of National Statistics, or reports filed by authorities such as the Greater London Authority and Local Government documents. We also collate our own proprietary data through a number of means. This data is then cross-referenced for accuracy, and kept up to date through frequent automated reviews.
Some of the data is older than one year, why is that?
We update our metrics as often as possible but sometimes the primary data sources we use are not published straight away. However, the data you see on the platform is always as up to date as possible because we continually monitor our sources for the latest insights. We also provide data from previous years so that comparisons can be made and trends extrapolated.
How many metrics are there and what do they cover?
In total, our WaData-Deli service provides 86 individual metrics, covering data pertaining to a postcode’s environment, economics, amenities, social demographics and mobility. These metrics include, but are by no means limited to: air quality; job classification and salary; broadband coverage and performance; general health and healthcare support, and the distance to the closest train station.
How many postcodes can I simultaneously explore?
The number of metrics you can explore simultaneously depends on your subscription package. They are:
- Mini: 2 postcodes
- Midi: 4 postcodes
- Maxi: 10 postcodes
Can I compare the data of multiple neighbourhoods at once?
In WaData-Deli you currently cannot compare the data from multiple neighbourhoods, but you can in our WaInsight platform.
Can I juxtapose the data of different metrics?
In WaData-Deli you currently cannot juxtapose different metrics, but you can in our WaInsight platform.
