Search Parameters
Can I find out more about what a metric contains without selecting and searching for it?
Yes, Why It Matters guides have been created just for that. On the “Walulel Data” mode you just need to select the blue (i) icon next to the metric of interest. The Why It Matters Guide will then explain everything about each metric.
Can I search for an area bigger than a postcode?
You can search for any area across London but for now the geography needs to be specific to the level of the postcode.
Can I search for an area outside of London?
Unfortunately, at the moment our Geospatial Analysis platform is focussed on London. However, if you would like to make a suggestion about where we should expand to next, then please fill in the feedback form by clicking the “Help and Feedback” mode (on the left-hand side).
How can I change my metric selection?
To change any of the parameters selected, whether it be the postcode or the metric itself, you can reopen the search panel in one of two ways. Either expand the search panel by clicking the magnifying glass on the left of the screen, or click on “Walulel Data” in the left-hand navigation panel to take you back to the search screen.
How can I reset my search?
To reset a search, click on “Walulel Data” in the left-hand navigation panel to take you back to the search screen.
What is a metric category?
A metric category refers to a group of metrics. By default, you should be able to view the following categories while searching for a metric: Economy, Social Demography, Built Environment and Natural Environment.
